Say Hello to the Genesis Family

Director of Academics

Tracy Dunlap

Tracy is a proud mother to five children and wife of Pastor Damion Dunlap for 18+ years, but more than anything, she is a woman who loves Jesus! Tracy earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Elementary Education from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee and taught in low-income public schools for seven years.

When the Dunlap family moved to Panama City Beach in 2010, they began their homeschooling journey.  During the past eleven years, Tracy has been able to touch the education journeys of more than a hundred students through her involvement with co-ops, homeschool groups, and homeschool evaluations. She launched her educational therapy practice after earning her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a Concentration in Educational Therapy from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL in 2019.

Tracy is a Florida certified teacher and certified educational therapist licensed through the National Institute of Learning and Development (NILD) and she is excited to incorporate the educational therapy practices and methodologies into her classroom. Over many years, Tracy has developed a unique intimate adaptive learning approach that embraces each student into a family-like environment founded on the belief that God has designed every brain to be capable of learning!
